Q:   Do your programs any religious affiliation?

A:   Our programs do not have any religious affiliation. Our holiday schedule follows that of New York City Public Schools.

Q:   How big are the classes?

A:   We believe in small classes and small student-teacher ratio which enable our teachers to dedicate proper amount of attention to every child. Most of our classes have 6 children and 2 teachers.

Q:   My child will be too young for English speaking pre-schools next year, can we apply to Pushkin Academy's «twos» group?

A:   Yes, we take children into some of our twos groups earlier than most English speaking pre-schools.

Q:   My child will be attending an English speaking pre-school five days per week next year. Can they still enroll into Pushkin Academy?

A:   Yes, we offer afternoon four year old groups. These classes begin with a group lunch. In the past several years, we have had students who combined an English speaking program in the morning with the Pre-School Alternative program in the afternoon. These children have welcomed the «change of scenery» in the middle of their day and transitioned comfortably by first telling all of their  «Pushkin» friends about the events of their morning program while eating together at the table.

Q:   My child will be attending twos program in an English speaking pre-school several days per week, can my child enroll into the Pushkin Academy for the other days?

A:   Yes, you can enroll your child in either a Monday / Wednesday / Friday  group or in a Tuesday / Thursday group depending on your child's school schedule.
